Alex didn't realize how much he needed a friend like Phil . . . not until he met his first "boyfriend," that is. Trouble is, by the time he figured it out, he had already written Phil off as a religious bigot.

It's Phil's persistent refusal to let a misunderstanding steal away the only friend he had since moving back home, that finally breaks the ice jam.
